The Connecting Generations match will not take place

The Connecting Generations exhibition match, which was scheduled to take place at the Luzhki Club in Moscow Region, will not take place as a consequence of additional health measures and the decision of the senior national team's coaching staff to not participate in the event.

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) greatly appreciates its partnership with Nornickel, which concerns the development of ice hockey across the country.

Nornickel has been the RIHF's general partner since October 2018. The main area of cooperation between the organisations is the development of the Red Machine National Development Program and support for the Russian national team ahead of the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.
