Euro Hockey Tour. Czech Republic - Russia. A statistical look

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation takes a look at the statistics to emerge from the 2021/2022 Euro Hockey Tour match between Russia and the Czech Republic in Helsinki, Finland:

- Russia and the Czech Republic have now competed against each other on 150 occasions. So far, the Russians have earned 85 wins, while the Czechs have tallied 58 victories and the remaining seven matches ended in a draw. The goal difference is 418-364 in Russia's favour. 100 of those games have been in the Euro Hockey Tour;

- Forward Nikita Tertyshny scored his maiden goal for the senior Russian national team on his third appearance. At the same time, defenseman Alexander Nikishin and forward Ivan Zinchenko dished out their first assists;

- In his second match for the senior national team, goaltender Dmitry Shugaev gained his first victory;

- For the first time in his senior international career, forward Dmitry Voronkov registered three (2+1) points in one single game for Russia. Overall, he has tallied 12 (6+6) points in 17 games for the senior Russian national team.
