12.11.2021
Following the tough victory against Finland in the first match of the Four Nations tournament in Sweden, under 20 Russian national team acting head coach Vladimir Filatov and forward Alexander Pashin shared their emotions:
Acting head coach of the under 20 Russian national team Vladimir Filatov:
- First of all, I am pleased with the result and the players' attitude. It was clear how the guys wanted to play at their best. We will now analyse this game and prepare for tomorrow's match against the Czech Republic, they have a strong team and it will be a tough battle. Overall, we are happy with how our players performed today.
Under 20 Russian national team forward Alexander Pashin:
- Finland have a strong, technical team, they like to compete in a quick manner. All three periods were tense. My goals? My teammates created those opportunities for me, I simply had to hit the target. It will be a physical duel against the Czechs, so we have to follow the coach's game plan.
