As part of the cooperation between the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) and the SKA Academy concerning the implementation of the Red Machine National Development Program, a joint event was held at the Hockey City complex in Saint Petersburg. The complex serves as an educational and training ground for improving the ice hockey skills of SKA system athletes, from amateurs to professionals.

The common theme of the lesson for young players (7-8 years old) was the task of teaching children basic technical skills and techniques. RIHF specialists demonstrated to the coaches of the SKA Army school the technology for assessing individual aspects of the motor and technical readiness of young players. The techniques and methods shown in the open lesson are easy to implement, but at the same time, they provide coaches with a large amount of various information.
