In the concluding match of the 2021 IIHF Women's World Championship group stage, the senior Russian women's national team suffered a loss against Finland, going down 0:4.

Three of the four goals were indeed scored during the opening 15 minutes of play.

Nevertheless, despite this result, Russia will compete in the quarter-finals of the competition on Saturday. The opponents will be determined after the conclusion of the remaining group games involving other teams.
