Euro Hockey Tour. Czech Republic - Russia. A statistical look

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation has rounded up the statistics to emerge from the concluding match of the 2020/2021 Euro Hockey Tour against the Czech Republic:

- In 25 Euro Hockey Tour campaigns, this was the ninth time when Russia won the competition. Finland have also won the tournament on nine occasions;

- 10 victories in 12 Euro Hockey Tour matches repeated the record which was originally set in the 2006/2007, 2007/2008 and 2008/2009 campaigns;

- Russia managed to score 43 goals in 12 Euro Hockey Tour games this season. The record of 49 was registered in the 2008/2009 campaign;

- Forward Vasily Podkolzin was our top scorer of the competition with nine (2+7) points. The leading goalscorer was fellow forward Andrei Kuzmenko with four markers;

- Defensemen Daniil Chayka (1+2), Igor Ozhiganov (1+2) and Yegor Yakovlev (0+3) all finished the tournament with three points each;

- Goalkeeper Ivan Fedotov made his Euro Hockey Tour debut;

- Forwards Pavel Karnaukhov and Artyom Shvets-Rogovoi participated in their 10th matches for the senior Russian national team.
