The senior national team marked Victory Day

On May 9, at 10:00 Moscow time, the senior Russian national team arrived at the Patriot Park, where they laid flowers at the Mother of the Winners memorial and visited the Main Church of the Russian Armed Forces.

The team subsequently visited the Kubinka air field, where they were hosted by the Strizhi and Russkie Vityazi aerobic groups after their performance at the Victory Day parade in Moscow. Members of the team were able to sit inside the cockpits and speak to the pilots.

General manager of the Russian national team Roman Rotenberg:

- It's good that we were able to celebrate Victory Day in Russia this year, usually we are playing at the World Championship somewhere in Europe. Today, we visited the Church of the Armed Forces, before meeting the Strizhi and Russkie Vityazi aerobic groups upon their arrival from the Victory Day Parade. This was a very important event for us. Army planes are a part of our ideology, they are the Red Machine. We would like to congratulate veterans and all citizens with Victory Day! We will do everything in order to win the World Championship!
