The Vladislav Tretiak Cup has started in Orsk

The Vladislav Tretiak Cup, a tournament which is being held among players born in 2008, has started in Orsk.

Russian Ice Hockey Federation president Vladislav Tretiak gave a speech at the opening ceremony of the competiton.

CSKA Moscow, Sibir Novosibirsk, Severstal Cherepovets, Yuzhny Ural Orsk, Dynamo Kazan, Zaryad Chelyabinsk. Sakhalin Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Tayfun Stavropol are all participating in the tournament.

Day-one results:

Zaryad Chelyabinsk - Sakhalin Yuzhno Sakhalinsk - 7:5 (1:2, 2:1, 4:2)

Yuzhny Ural Orsk - CSKA Moscow - 2:14 (2:6, 0:6, 0:2)

Dynamo Kazan - Tayfun Stavropol - 13:2 (6:1, 3:0, 4:1)

Severstal Cherepovets - Sibir Novosibirsk - 6:5 SO (2:2, 2:1, 1:2, 0:0 - 1:0)
