Swedish Hockey Games. Russia - Czech Republic. A statistical look

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation analyses the statistics to emerge from the 7:4 triumph over the Czech Republic in the third match of the 2021 Swedish Hockey Games in Malmo:

- This is the fifth time in history when Russia have won the Swedish stage of the Euro Hockey Tour following victories in 2003, 2006, 2008 and 2017;

- Forward Vladimir Butuzov scored his third goal for the senior national team, as he hit the target in the third successive match of the tournament in Malmo. Furthermore, with a grand total of four (3+1) points on the board, Vladimir became the top scorer of the competition, following in the footsteps of Danis Zaripov (2006), Maxim Rybin (2009), Sergei Mozyakin (2013), Pavel Buchnevich (2018) and Evgeny Kuznetsov (2019);

- At the age of 17 years, 11 months and 29 days, forward Nikita Chibrikov scored his first goal for the senior Russian national team. He is second in the list of the youngest senior national team scorers, trailing only Alexander Ovechkin (17 years, 11 months, 21 days);

- Fellow forward German Rubtsov made his debut for the senior Russian national team.
