Russia U20 will compete against Germany in the quarter-finals of the 2021 WJC

The junior Russian national team will compete against Germany in the quarter-finals of the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship in Edmonton, Canada.

Puck-drop is scheduled for 20:00 Moscow time on January 2.

Here is the full quarter-final schedule:

January 2, Russia - Germany, 20:00*
January 2, Finland - Sweden, 23:30
January 3, Canada - Czech Republic, 03:00
January 3, USA - Slovakia, 06:30

*All times in accordance with Moscow time

The draw for the semi-finals will subsequently be made in accordance with the seedings from the group stages, with a higher seed being pitted against a lower seed:

1. Canada
2. USA
3. Finland
4. Russia
5. Sweden
6. Germany
7. Czech Republic
8. Slovakia

The semi-finals will be staged at 02:00 and 05:30 Moscow time respectively.

The medal games will then be held at 01:30 (bronze medal playoff) and 05:30 (final) Moscow time respectively.
