In a friendly match ahead of the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship, the under 20 Russian national team will face Canada in Edmonton, with the game scheduled to begin at 02:00 Moscow time in the early hours of Thursday.

Our players have been training on Canadian ice since a four-day quarantine period after arrival reached its completion. Forward Vasily Podkolzin will be the Russian captain at the competition.
