2020 Connecting Generations match

The "Connecting Generations" match will take place ahead of the Channel One Cup - the second stage of the Euro Hockey Tour - in the third consecutive year. It will be organised by the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) and Nornickel with the Night Hockey League supporting the event. The main idea of the game is to support the traditions of Russian ice hockey, with both Soviet and current-day stars participating in it. Legendary players such as Vyacheslav Fetisov, Alexei Kasatonov, Alexander Yakushev and Pavel Pure will compete in the match, alongside players of the current senior national team and representatives of Russian sport, politics and culture.
It will be held on December 14 at the Luzhki Club in Moscow Region. Due to local restrictions, the match will be staged without spectators, but it will be shown on fhr.ru. The start time is scheduled for 16:00 local time. Channel One in Russia will broadcast the game later.
