65 years since the birth of Boris Alexandrov

Boris Alexandrov, a legendary Soviet ice hockey forward, who notably won the 1976 Olympic Games with the USSR national team, would have turned 65 years of age today on November 13.
Furthermore, he was a USSR champion in 1975, 1977 and 1978, while becoming a silver medalist of the 1978 USSR Cup and scoring two goals in five Canada Cup matches.
Boris sadly passed away on 31 July 2002 in a road accident. Nevertheless, on 26 May 2019, he was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame.
