The RIHF participated in the opening ceremony of the 2020/2021 KHL season

The president of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF), Vladislav Tretiak, participated in the opening ceremony of the 2020/2021 Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) season.

KHL president Alexei Morozov and International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) president Rene Fasel also took part in the ceremony.

RIHF president Vladislav Tretiak:

- It is a great honour for me to congratulate you with this celebration. We had been waiting for this for a long time, and finally it's happened. We hope that new names will appear this season. And, of course, we will support our national team in May at the 2021 IIHF World Championship.
