Dates of the 2021 World Championship

The dates of the 2021 IIHF World Championship to be held in Belarus (Minsk) and Latvia (Riga) have been revealed by the International Ice Hockey Federation.
It will take place between May 21st and June 6th in 2021.
Russia will compete in Group A alongside Sweden, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Slovakia, Denmark, Belarus and Great Britain, with all games being played at the Minsk Arena in Minsk, Belarus. Two quarter-finals, the semi-finals, bronze medal playoff and the final will all be staged in Minsk.
The full tournament schedule is due to be announced during the summer.
