June 14th marks the 63rd anniversary of Nikolai Drozdetsky's birthday, who won the 1984 Olympic Games and the World Championship in both 1981 and 1982.
Overall, Nikolai made a combined total of 503 appearances in the USSR championship with SKA and CSKA Moscow, scoring 253 goals. He became a USSR champion eight times (1980-1987), while also claiming the 1981 Canada Cup. Nikolai sadly passed away on 25 November 1995.
