Yegor Guskov: "All of us fight for each other"
16.12.2019
Goalkeeper of the under 18 Russian national team, Yegor Guskov, spoke to the media following the dramatic 2:1 beating of Canada East in the final of the 2019 World Hockey Challenge:
- This was the most difficult match of my career so far. Before the second overtime period, we didn't have energy to speak to each other, we simply knew that it was us or them. We wanted the victory more. We wanted to enter 2020 with a positive frame of mind. All of us fight for each other, so it's not surprising why we are successful. How tired am I on a scale from one to 10? 10! Now, more than anything else, I want to lay in bed and go to sleep.
