2019 Karjala Cup. Russia - Finland

On November 7, the senior Russian national team will play against Finland in the first match of the 2019 Karjala Cup - the maiden stage of the Euro Hockey Tour.

Forwards Andrei Kuzmenko and Artur Kayumov are now a part of the team after they were called up.

Yesterday, the players trained in Helsinki in these following lines:

Blazhievskiy, Ozhiganov - Slepyshev, Karnaukhov, Okulov;
Cherepanov, Sergeev - Makeev, Kadeikin, Soshnikov;
Zub, Rafikov - Kuzmenko, Shvets-Rogovoy, Burdasov;
Mishchenko, Sharypzyanov - Shumakov, Semyonov, Zhafyarov;
Dyblenko, Fazylzyanov - Kudryavtsev, Alexeev, Kayumov.

Finland are the current world champions after winning the 2019 IIHF World Championship. Incidentally, the Finns defeated Russia 1-0 in the semi-finals of that particular competition. Jokerit forward Marko Antilla is their captain.

Puck drop is scheduled for 19:30 Moscow time. Match-Igra and the Channel One website will broadcast live in Russia.
