CIBC Canada Russia Series. Russia U20 - Team QMJHL - 3:4 OT

The under 20 Russian national team came up short in the second match of the 2019 CIBC Canada Russia Series, conceding a 3:4 overtime defeat to Team QMJHL.

Yegor Sokolov, Dmitry Zavgorodniy and Maxim Groshev all scored for Russia as the Canadian hosts eventually emerged victorious in the extra frame.

Russia will next play in the series on November 7 against Team OHL. The team had defeated Team QMJHL in the first game.
