In Vierumaki, the under 17 Russian national team took on their Finnish counterparts in a friendly match, claiming a dramatic 4:3 victory in overtime.

Ilya Ivantsov, Matvey Petrov and Vsevolod Gaydamak scored the Russian goals in regulation, before Vladimir Grudinin netted the overtime winner.

The next two games against Finland will take place on August 10 and 11.
