Yuri Novikov: The whole season comes under the banner of the Olympic Games

Russian women's team under the leadership of Mikhail Chekanov in preparation for the Olympics in Sochi early next gathering in Novogorsk , 8 August, the team will fly to the Czech Republic for three friendly matches . Coach Yuri Novikov answered "R-sport" questions.

This year the women's team has gathered very early on June 19. Gathering in Sochi went very well , done a lot of work fascinating , little girls are well prepared . Now we have advanced the field of candidates . We try to cover as many clubs. The competition will be very high. And it will be difficult to determine the composition of the Olympics , because all are worthy. Now we have 28 people , and all will go to the Czech Republic , except the " Tornado" players, who are preparing according their plan . At the start of the season, we also take into account the interests of the club , and then closer to the  Sochi National Team's interests will be on the first place.

Throughout the season we are preparing thinking about Olympic Games , it is not far off . The work is scheduled and is serious. Tasks are large. Federation and the Ministry of Sport create all the conditions for the preparation of the national team . We have a very good international calendar. Matches in the Czech Republic , the tournament in Finland, then play with Canada in Sochi. For a team so rich calendar - a big plus , and we hope that it will bring its results in the Games .
