83 years since the birth of Yury Volkov

April 18th marks the 83rd anniversary of the birth of Yury Volkov, a former Soviet ice hockey player who was an honoured Master of Sport.
During his playing career, Yury represented Krylya Sovetov, Lokomotiv Moscow and Dynamo Moscow, notably becoming a world and European champion with the Soviet national team in 1963 and 1965.
Yury sadly passed away on 17 May 2016.
