2019 World U18 Championship. Russia - Slovakia

On Thursday, the under 18 Russian national team will take on Slovakia in the opening match of the 2019 IIHF World Championship.

18 players have been registered for tournament action:

Goalkeepers: Yaroslav Askarov (SKA-Varyagi), Ilya Gorbunov (Belie Medvedi), Vsevolod Skotnikov (Krasnaya Armiya).

Defensemen: Nikolai Burenov (Russkie Vityazi), Nikita Vashchenko (SKA-Varyagi), Alexander Kirpichnikov (Belie Medvedi), Semyon Chistyakov (Tolpar), Ivan Rogov (Almaz), Nikita Sedov (Regina Pats).

Forwards: Rodion Amirov (Tolpar), Yegor Bryzgalov (Dynamo Moscow), Maxim Groshev (Reaktor), Arseniy Gritsyuk, Yegor Chinakhov (both Omskie Yastreby), Danil Gushchin (Lumberjacks), Takhir Mingachyov (TSSK VVS), Ilya Nikolaev (Loko), Vasily Podkolzin (SKA-1946), Yegor Spiridonov, Dmitry Sheshin (both Stalnie Lisy), Marat Khusnutdinov (Vityaz).

Puck drop against Slovakia is scheduled for 16:30 Moscow time. Match TV will broadcast live in Russia.
