Euro Hockey Challenge. Russia - Switzerland

At the Shayba Arena in Sochi, the senior Russian national team will take on Switzerland in the first of two scheduled Euro Hockey Challenge matches between the countries.

In early April, the Russian Olympic team competed in two games against France, claiming two victories 4:1 and 2:0 respectively. Next week, Russia will also play Latvia twice on the road in Riga.

The Russians are scheduled to take on Sweden (May 2), Finland (May 4) and the Czech Republic (May 5).

All of the Swiss players in this particular squad play their ice hockey in Switzerland.

Puck drop is scheduled for 19:30 local time in Sochi. Match TV will broadcast live in Russia.
