The Mood Festival started in Udachniy

22.03.2019
On the 21nd and 22nd of March, the Mood Festival started in Udachniy, an event which has jointly been organised by ALROSA and the Russian Ice Hockey Federation.

Honoured ice hockey players Mikhail Vasiliev, Igor Grigorenko and Alexander Boykov held friendly matches against local ice hockey lovers while running master-classes for young children.

Mikhail Vasiliev, Olympic champion:

- This event in Udachniy was held at a very high level, we have friends here from our last trip, so it felt as though we arrived home. It was clear how the children are motivated to play ice hockey and copy what we showed them at the master-classes. One of the players, Lev, has only been playing the sport for six months, but his progress is obvious to see. This is all because of this festival. There were 20-25 players, and we can see how ice hockey is popular here.

Mood Festival schedule:

March 21-22, Udachniy
March 23-24, Aykhal
March 26-27, Mirniy
