In the second match of the 2019 IIHF World W18 Championship in Japan, the under 18 Russian women's national team defeated Sweden 5:3!

Elizaveta Shkalyova was the star of the show, bagging an impressive hat trick to seal a crucial three points in the competition! Karina Akhmetova and Vita Ponyatovskaya were the other Russian scorers.

On January 9, Russia will take on Canada in the concluding group stage match.
