Start of the 2014 IIHf U18 World Championship

Tomorrow, April 17, 2014 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship starts. Group stage will be held in two cities - Imatra (Russia, Canada, Sweden, Slovakia, Germany) and in Lappeenranta ( USA, Czech Republic, Finland, Denmark, Switzerland). Tomorrow team of Pavel Baulin will meet with rivals from Slovakia. On April, 19. we will meet team Germany, on April, 21 - team Sweden and on April, 22 - team Canada.

Since 1999 Russia has won gold medals of U18 IIHF World Championshios three times - in 2001, 2004 and 2007, silver medals -in 2000, 2001, 2008 and 2009, and bronze medals - in 2003 and 2011.
