Russia U20 completed a training camp in Novogorsk

In Novogorsk, the under 20 Russian national team have completed a training camp ahead of the upcoming 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship.
These following 24 players were picked by the management group to travel to Canada:
Goalkeepers: Pyotr Kochetkov (Ryazan), Amir Miftakhov (Bars), Daniil Tarasov (Toros).
Defensemen: Daniil Valitov (Avtomobilist), Artyom Volkov (Khimik), Daniil Zhuravlyov (Bars), Evgeny Kalabushkin (SKA-Neva), Ilya Morozov (Sibir), Saveliy Olshanskiy (Zauralye), Alexander Romanov (CSKA Moscow), Mark Rubinchik (Toros).
Forwards: Artyom Galimov (Bars), Grigory Denisenko, Nikolai Kovalenko, Kirill Slepets (all Lokomotiv Yaroslavl), Vitaly Kravtsov (Traktor), Kirill Marchenko, Ivan Morozov, Artyom Nikolaev (all SKA-Neva), Ivan Muranov (Dynamo Moscow), Stepan Starkov (HC Sochi), Nikita Shashkov (Sibir), Pavel Shen (Salavat Yulaev Ufa), Alexander Yaremchuk (Avangard).
As a result, defensemen Anton Malyshev (Lokomotiv Yaroslavl) and Makar Khabarov (Severstal), alongside forwards Evgeny Kanitskiy (Metallurg Novokuznetsk) and Vladislav Tsitsyura (SKA-Neva), have left the team.
Defensemen Alexander Alexeev (Red Deer) and Dmitry Samorukov (Guelph) and forwards Klim Kostin (San Antonio), Alexander Khovanov (Moncton) and Ivan Chekhovich (Baie Comeau) will join the team in Canada.
Russia U20 will play three friendly matches before the 2019 World Junior Championship begins:

December 21, Russia - USA, 04.00 MSK
December 24, Russia - Switzerland, 03.30 MSK
