CIBC Canada Russia Series. Russia U20 - Team QMJHL - 5:1

In the first match against the QMJHL in the 2018 CIBC Canada Russia Series, the under 20 Russian national team put on a show, thrashing the opponents 5:1!

Nikita Shashkov opened the scoring for Russia, but after the QMJHL managed to grab an equaliser, the Russians really began to start playing.

Ivan Muranov, Dmitry Zavgorodniy, Kirill Slepets and Ivan Chekhovich netted further goals, securing a huge 5:1 victory and making the overall series score 3:2 in Russia's favour!

In order to win the 2018 CIBC Canada Russia Series, the team simply need to avoid losing in regulation time in the concluding match which will take place on Thursday.
