Hlinka/Gretzky Cup. Semi-final. Russia U18 - Sweden U18 - 1:2

In the 2018 Hlinka/Gretzky Cup semi-final, the under 18 Russian national team failed to defeat Sweden, dropping a dramatic 1:2 loss.

During a dramatic third period, Vasily Podkolzin equalised after the Swedes had initially taken the lead, but with only 45 seconds remaining, Karl Henriksson smashed in a winner to claim a 2:1 victory for Sweden.

Russia U18 will now compete in the bronze medal match against the USA.
