In Dmitrov, the Ball Hockey World Championship group stage has reached its completion.

Over the past three years, the Canadian women's national team had never lost a match, but Russia managed to break that record, claiming a dramatic 4:3 victory in a penalty shootout.

The group stage standings are as follows:

2. Czech Republic - 9 points
3. Russia - 4 points
4. Great Britain - 4 points

Women

1. Russia - 11 points
