The 2018 ALROSA Cup has started in Saint Petersburg

In Saint Petersburg, the 2018 ALROSA Cup has started. Traditionally, this competition tests the capabilities of the country's reserves before the upcoming World Championship. The tournament was given a new lease of life thanks to ALROSA, the Russian Ice Hockey Federation's title partner.
In 2017, the Russian Olympic (B) team won the competition with Oleg Bratash the head coach.
Austria, Belarus, Norway and the Russian Olympic team are the tournament's participating teams. In the opening match, the Austrians defeated Belarus 3:2.
At 19.30, Russia will take on Norway at the Yubileyny Arena.
