In Chelyabinsk, the under 18 Russian national team defeated Slovakia 6:5 in a penalty shootout in the final group stage match.
The teams exchanged ten goals in regulation time, with the play swinging back and forth. At one point, Slovakia had a 4:1 advantage, but Russia came back to eventually make it 5:5 after 60 minutes.
Kirill Marchenko, Danil Misyul, Alexander Romanov, Vasily Podkolzin and Ruslan Iskhakov scored in regulation time, before Semyon Kizimov netted the winning penalty shot!
