Euro Hockey Tour. Russia - Finland - 1:2

In the second Czech Hockey Games fixture, the senior Russian national team fell 1:2 to Finland.

Russia got off to a flying start in Pardubice, scoring after seven minutes with Nikita Gusev hitting the jackpot. Our players opted for an aggressive approach during the opening frame, registering 11 shots on target.

However, things turned sour in the second stanza. Henrik Jokiharju equalised, before Jere Sallinen scored the winning goal for the Finns in the final minute of regulation time.

Nevertheless, Russia will play the Czech Republic tomorrow in the final tournament game.
