Russia W16 will play at the European Cup

In Finland, the 2018 European Cup will start on April 16. Under the guidance of head coach Evgeny Bobariko, these following players will compete at the competition:

Goalkeepers: Anna Alpatova, Anastasia Gorshunova.

Defenders: Darya Kovalenko, Vita Ponyatovskaya, Anastasia Petina, Aysylu Rakhimova, Alyona Shmykova, Angelina Makhmutova, Irina Zhigulina, Karina Akhmetova.

Forwards: Elizaveta Shkalyova, Kristi Shashkina, Varvara Boriskova, Ekaterina Davletshina, Kristina Glukharyova, Veronika Korzhakova, Polina Luchnikova, Alexandra Lidskaya, Ilona Markova, Sofiya Lifatova, Tatyana Korablina, Valeria Dryndina.

Russia W16 will compete in Group B with Switzerland, Norway, France and Germany. In the group matches, a format of two periods of 20 minutes will be used, before the three periods of 20 minutes will be introduced for the knockout games.

On April 16, Russia will play Switzerland at 11:45 and Norway at 20:00.
