In memory of Viktor Tikhonov

On June 4, legendary Soviet ice hockey coach Viktor Tikhonov would have turned 88 years of age.

During his stunning coaching career, Viktor won the Olympic Games three times (1984, 1988, 1992) and the World Championship on eight occasions (1978, 1979, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1986, 1989, 1990). Sadly, he died on November 24, 2014.
