31.12.2020
The 31st of December 2020 marks the 96th anniversary of Boris Kulagin's birthday. A legendary ice hockey coach, Boris led the USSR national team to Olympic glory in 1976.

He became a major coach in the USSR, coaching the famous HC CSKA Moscow team before taking over the USSR national side. His crowning moment came in 1976, when he won the Olympic Games. However, he couldn't win World Championship in 1976 and 1977. Following those disappointments, Boris Kulagin stepped down as national team boss and consequently coached in Denmark. Nevertheless, in 1978, he retuned to the USSR as HC Spartak Moscow head coach.
