Roman Lyubimov, Pavel Datsyuk and Evgeny Dadonov speak after beating Germany
Roman Lyubimov, forward:
- We played well in the first ten minutes, however we conceded first. After that, the game changed, and it was end to end ice hockey. During the break, the coach told us to tighten up at the back, and be more careful in front of goal. We did that, and scored our markers. Nevertheless, we want to improve in defence.
Pavel Datsyuk, forward:
- The fans supported us well, and at the start of the game, we burst forward trying to score first. In the end, Germany ended up finding the net. In the break, we calmed down, were more disciplined, began to shoot more and we found our game.
Evgeny Dadonov, forward:
- We didn't panic at all after conceding, we stuck to the game plan. We had prepared for this match, and knew that Germany have a good team.
