The senior Russian women's national team competed in a friendly match against male side Belie Medvedi U16 in Novogorsk, earning a slender 2:1 win.

The game was held as a part of the ongoing preparations for the Eurasia Jastar Cup.

Even though the opponents got on the board in the third stanza, two previous markers from Valeria Ivanova and Ekaterina Shkalyova ensured that our players emerged victorious.

The tournament is scheduled to take place in Astana between the 2nd and 5th of February.
