The Channel One Cup is taking place between the 11th and 14th of December in Novosibirsk. The airline will transport the national team and its coaching staff to the ice at Sibir Arena, providing the team with optimal preparation conditions.

For S7 Airlines, supporting the Channel One Cup is especially significant: the tournament is taking place in Novosibirsk, the company's hometown. This is an opportunity not only to promote the development of ice hockey in the country but also to contribute to the sporting life of its region.

Roman Rotenberg, head coach of the Russia 25 team and First Vice President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation:

"Air travel is an important part of the lives of ice hockey players, who spend a significant amount of time in the air. The Russian Ice Hockey Federation always strives to ensure that everything is organised at the highest level for all our teams; this is the only way in which we can achieve fantastic results with our ice hockey teams at any level. This also applies to flights, because in sport, there are no trivial details. We know that S7 Airlines is one of the leaders in passenger air travel in our country and always provides the excellent service which our teams require. Therefore, we are very pleased to have concluded this agreement and can be confident that our players will always be in safe and caring hands while in the air."

Dmitry Kudelkin, CEO of S7 Group:

"It is a great honour for us to become the official air carrier of one of the main ice hockey tournaments of the season and to contribute to the success of our national team. Our partnership with the Channel One Cup is not only about logistical support, but also about shared values focused on developing ice hockey and supporting our national team which is adored by the entire nation.
