Russia U20 defeat Belarus to win the Future Cup!

As a consequence of emphatically defeated the Belarusians 4:0, Russia U20 have won the 2025 Future Cup!

All tournament games were staged at the Yubileyny Arena.

Our players immediately took control of proceedings, opening up a quick two-goal lead through Malik Saberzyanov and Roman Luttsev in the first period.

Alexander Plesovskikh extended that advantage to three at the start of the second frame.

Refusing to wave the white flag, Belarus U20 did pull their goaltender in the closing stages of the ensuing third period, but that only resulted in Vadim Dudorov hitting the empty net.

Incidentally, this is the fourth consecutive year in which Russia U20 have won the Future Cup in Saint Petersburg!
