Closing ceremony of the 2024/2025 WHL season

On April 28, the Continental Hotel in Moscow hosted an event dedicated to the completion of the 2024/2025 Women's Hockey League (WHL) season.
The Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) organised a group discussion with the management of WHL clubs, during which the sporting results were summed up and proposals concerning possible rule adjustments and improvements for the 2025/2026 campaign discussed. Particular attention was paid to issues of preparation for the off-season, maintaining official statistics, refereeing and both medical and anti-doping support. The marketing block discussed new approaches with regard to interacting with fans, promoting the league on social networking platforms and developing match broadcasts.
The closing ceremony of the season was also staged, with the best players, coaches and club specialists were being presented with individual awards.
The RIHF expresses gratitude to everyone who is contributing to the development of women's ice hockey in our country!
