The Student Hockey League (SHL) defeated the National Junior Hockey League (NMHL) in the 2025 Generation Cup, earning a dramatic 4:2 victory!
The match was staged at the Metallurg Arena in Magnitogorsk.
The winning goal was netted with a little less than nine minutes remaining in regulation time, before the victors subsequently secured their triumph with a fourth marker in the closing stages.
As a consequence of this result, the overall series score between the two sides in the history of this competition is 2-3 in favour of the SHL.
