Nikolai Puchkov Tournament. Russia U23 - Sochi - 4:2

The U23 Russian national team powered past Sochi in the maiden game of the Nikolai Puchkov Tournament, claiming a confident 4:2 victory.

The match was held at the Hockey City complex in Saint Petersburg.

Maxim Fedotov and Dmytro Timashov initially handed Sochi a two-goal advantage within the opening five minutes of play. However, our players subsequently came roaring back, with Ivan Demidov grabbing two goals, Gleb Petrov netting while on a 5-on-3 and Artur Brovkin hitting the target. All four of our markers were tallied before the 33rd minute.

Russia U23 will now prepare to compete against Kunlun Red Star at the Ice Palace on Saturday. Puck-drop is scheduled for 15:00 Moscow time.
