RIHF and VHL decision concerning the staging of the 2024/2025 Russian Championship

The Board of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) has taken the decision to delegate the rights concerning the holding of the Russian Men's Ice Hockey Championship to the Vysshaya Hockey League Association (VHL).
The agreement between the RIHF and the Kontinental Hockey League LLC concerning the delegation of the rights to staging the Russian Men's Ice Hockey Championship ended on 1 August 2024.
Today, on 7 August, a meeting of the VHL Board took place, during which a decision was taken to sign an agreement with the RIHF concerning the delegation of the rights to stage the Russian Men's Ice Hockey Championship.
The Russian Men's Ice Hockey Championship - All-Russian Hockey League will take place in the 2024/2025 season.
The RIHF will today invite Russian clubs to participate in the Russian Championship. The list of participants will be ratified on 12 August 2024.
