New Channel One Cup design

The new Channel One Cup has been created in accordance with the design put together by Vladimir Maizel.
Brass, nickel and gold plating were used in the production of the trophy. Its height is 65 cm and its weight is 17.5 kg. The base of the Cup is a crystal, and the bowl symbolizes ice with traces of skate blades. At the base there is a medallion with the image of a Snowman, the mascot of the tournament.
Vladimir Maizel is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, an honourary member of the Russian Academy of Arts. He is the creator of the Gagarin Cup and other KHL trophies.
