Sports medicine at the "Russia is a Sporting Power" forum

At the "Russia is a Sporting Power" forum in Perm, chief of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation's (RIHF) medical department Ekaterina Varfolomeeva participated in an open discussion concerning medical and biological support in hockey and the specifics of work to prevent violations of anti-doping rules.

The discussion took place at the RIHF's and Liga Stavok's stand at the forum.



Also, as part of the expanded business program of the forum, Varfolomeeva participated in two further discussions concerning the “Anti-Doping Support for Russian Sport" and “Sports Medicine: from Science to Practice" topics. The participants discussed the implementation of the national anti-doping program at federal and regional levels, the roles and responsibilities of sporting federations in anti-doping enforcement, the Prohibited List and the 2024 monitoring program.
