A coaching seminar in Krasnodar

On the 23rd and 24th of September, a special coaching seminar was held in Krasnodar. The seminar was aimed at coaches of southern youth teams, with 48 of them taking part.

For the first time in a number of years, not only theory lessons were held, but also special training sessions on the ice. Present was two time Women's World Championship bronze medalist Mikhail Chekanov, while qualified RIHF coaches V. Krutskikh and D. Polyanchikov also took part.

The coaches were shown new methods of training goalkeepers as well as other useful tips. After the seminar reached its completion, each coach was presented with a Russian Ice Hockey Federation certificate. 

We note that such RIHF coaching seminars are planned in different regions.
