Reaction after Russia 25 played Belarus in Astana

06.05.2023
After the match against Belarus (4:7) in Kazakhstan as a part of the Liga Stavok Big National Team Tour, Russia 25 head coach Roman Rotenberg and forward Zakhar Bardakov both shared their emotions:

Russia 25 head coach Roman Rotenberg:

- Taking into account that yesterday's game finished late, we only had time to sleep before this match. We didn't lose out to the opponents in terms of movement. Even though the Belarusians were fresher, we did have chances to win. We needed to take advantage of our scoring opportunities and protect the goalkeeper more effectively. Whereas we played against Kazakhstan yesterday, Belarus rested. We'll now focus on our preparations for our next game on May 9.

Russia 25 forward Zakhar Bardakov:

- The Belarusians changed their tactics for this game. From our point of view, our problem was that we allowed them to control the puck. The fact that we played yesterday took its toll on the result.
